Carolyn Day

Carolyn is a creative and determined visionary who is passionate about the well-being of our environment and the need to help others. She became a UC Master Gardener in 2015 teaching organic gardening as a volunteer in LA County. She has given just over 1000 hours to the program, founded the Children’s Organic Garden in Topanga and been involved in supporting many other environmental stewardship and gardening projects. Another lifetime ago, Carolyn competed in the first ever women’s Pipeline surfing contest and was one of the very few women in the world to perform and land a backhandspring on a cantering horse. As a stuntwoman, circus performer, surfer and gardener, Carolyn has always followed her passion with enthusiasm and determination.
